Upon power up, my inkjet 2800 goes straight to display "PRINTER ERROR - Turn off and on the printer" I cannot do anything from this point. If I arrow down, I see a code of "085E-EE22"

Discovered bad capacitor on pc board 680uf 6.3 volts. Look for one with the top expanded up. I had the same issue, one $.14 caps later, all is well.

My copier ir2800 was indicating error 602- 0001 which is the fault to the HDD or main board but after replaced another HDD has changed error and indicated E677-578 then the display is not showing anything...


the hdd u have replaced is not with the 2800 software. is ur machine 2870 2830 2800
they all have different softwares
u have to get a HDD with same software as ur machine

Is there a cmos battery in an hp 2800? If so, where is it?


There is no CMOS battery in this printer. The instruction manual indicates the only way to reset the printer is to power it off, unplug it, and let it rest for 30 seconds before reconnecting power and turning it back on.
