Question about Norelco T 800 Beard Trimmer
Disassembling the Norelco T800 is quite easy -- once you know what to do!
* Remove the single small Philips screw that you can see near the power connector
* Twist (hard) the cutter depth ring past 9 and it will come loose.
* Now remove both the ring and the guide piece that it moves up and down
* Now pry off the cutter head (black piece of plastic)
* Now remove the metal clip that you find under the head -- press down on the two free ends and pry the other end of the clip loose.
* Now release two plastic tabs that we under the rotating ring.
* Now I just pried the two parts apart by inserting a small screwdriver and twisting. I'm not sure if there are any more tabs that can be released at this point.
* Now you can remove the circuit board (which is held in my a couple of plastic tabs).
Now you can replace the *single* NICD 600maH battery (AA size). The longest bit of this step was heating up the soldering iron!
Reassembly is the reverse.

The rechargeable batteries are solder into the circuit board of the electric shaver. You'll have to use a soldering iron to de-solder the terminals/tabs from the PCB (printed circuit board) in order to get them out.
Then you'll need new replacement rechargeable batteries to solder back into the shaver.
You can get teh correct replacement batteries from Electric Shaver Service in Lincoln, Nebraska (if you're in the US or Canada). They even do service and repair work in about a week, if you want to have them fix your shaver for you.
Here's a link to the battery page with your shaver model's rechargeable batteries for about $15.00 (plus s&h)
Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

To get to the batteries, you will need to flip up the lotion packet cover on the back and remove the lotion packet if there is one. You will see four screws on the back. Remove these to take off the back of the shaver case. Once this back case is removed, you will be able to see the battery pack. The circuit board can be lifted up slightly for better access to the batteries.
To replace the batteries, you will need to do a little soldering. For easy replacement, it is sometimes suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries rather that removing them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can them solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs.

If you have removed the 5 screws the back cover will come off. There are seals that make it fit pretty snug. You will need to gently pry the back cover off.

SOURCE: How do I remove the
Remove the 4 screws on the back to take off the back cover. You will have to extend the trimmer to access 2 of the screws. You can then unsolder the batteries from the circuit board.
