I have sony mini hi-fi mhc-gnz88d now it's displaying DEST ERROR and can't open disk tray or run a CD. how to solve this?


i hv also this problem from yestrday.. all function are ok. bt when playing dvd ... there is 'please wait'error long time. and also tray not open after pressing open or exchange cd also... whats problem.. please help me.. waiting

if your sound system gives you Desk Error or Desk Read Error, try cleaning it with a lens cleaner, they can be found in many forms in the market. If the problem still insists then your system's lens ( the part which read the optical discs like DVD's CDs etc.) need to be checked by a professional technician, probably would install a new lens on your system. In Dest Error you have to replaced its EEPROM IC. If you haven't its EEPROM Data then I can provide it.

Disc Error you need to check the CD quality,condition ,& correct CD placement! There is a chance that the CD optic lens needs to be cleaned or replaced or CD lens motor mech. is bad & needs replacement!
