If you are referring to the CMOS battery, then locate it on the motherboard. Carefully pry the old battery out of the retaining socket. Note the model of the battery (IE CR2032 or just 2032). Pick one up from a store such as a local department store or a local office supply store such as Staples. Put the new battery in the retaining socket. Power on the PC and boot to your BIOS configuration page and reset the BIOS, as pulling the CMOS battery will reset the BIOS to the original factory settings and you will need to make these changes.
