A new model switch would probably work better with Windows 7 laptop. I have experienced some incompatibilities with older peripherals or accessories when upgrading to Windows 7.

Good luck on this repair.

How would you handle a threat of workplace aggression or violence ?

It is the responsibility of HR department to deal with such issues. The HR should make sure that employees are undergoing Workplace Violence Prevention Training.A single strategy alone will not work on the issue of workplace aggression or bullying. If HR fail to investigate it or to counsel the offending person, the HR manager(s) would be criminally liable for allowing it to continue.

Sensitivity training with a module on workplace bullying is more effective in the new hire orientation or in the workplace practices using proactive approaches

Frequent workplace sessions on bullying is the most effective. Newly hired employees need initial instructions so that they'll know the rules..... but, some forget after time. Besides, approaching the subject right in the workplace give opportunities for employees to bring specific problems to the forefront so that they may be dealt with, then and there.

Projector does not work with computer

Hi Connecting a laptop computer to an overhead projector is a relatively simple process. That said, it can be a disaster to work hard on a presentation, be it for a school or workplace environment, only to show up and find yourself unprepared. Take the time now to learn about the different ways your laptopmag-glass_10x10.gif can connect to an overhead projector, and how to accomplish this easy task, and you can enter your presentation with poise and confidence.
Learn the different types of video outputs your laptop may or may not support. The three most common types of video outputs used with overhead projectors are Video Graphics Array (VGA), Separated Video (S-Video) and High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI). You need to make sure your laptop has the correct output corresponding to an input on the projector you will use.

You can plug them both up to the projector and switch inputs on the projector probably. I also see no reason why the KVM switch shouldn't work.

Running 15mbps internet connection, can connect to XP client using Win 2003 SBS remote web workplace. Once connected to client, slow performance, glitchy..client has 2GB ram so it's not the computer

What is the speed of the remote computer's connection? Your 15M pipe is only as fast as the slowest segment on the total connection, and if the remote computer is on a T1, that's only 1.5M wide.
If it's on a consumer DSL connection, their upstream (downstream for you) may well be 760k or slower.

Unfortunately there is no way to prove you never received the message. Show them your inbox and trash folder and just try to convince them. Tell them it is possible for email messages to be lost in transit.
