Question about Grundig YB-550PE AM/FM Radio

1 Answer

YB 550 PE

Just got two of these and no manual and they turn off automatically after what appears to be two hours or so. How can I stop this? I don't need this feature ever.

Thanks

Ron

It would seem Grundig would let you choose not default to a timed turnoff. Many thanks for the solve!

Radio shust off after 10 sec, if I hold the button down, nothing happens. I must press the button 3 times, then it plays for about 10 sec. The radio is about 2 years old.

When radio is first turned on, it goes into "sleep" mode that you can set between 1 min to 2 hrs. (You'll see the number on the screen). If you hold the "on" button longer, you'll see (yb-550) on the screen and the radio will remain on until you turn it off.

Cycle stops and the code FE appears and to refer to manual but I don't have one, can you help

IE: Water level (246) was not reached in 8 minutes
UE: Imbalance: Load too, small too large
OE: Drain problem took longer than 10 minutes to drain
FE: Overflow issue drain pump running to comp
PE: pressure sensor (sensor out)
dE: door error. open door. switch is out
LE (with a a slash in the
middle of L. Upside down F) Thermistor out
CE: Over amping Too much soap wrong soap
LE: hall sensor shorted/destroyed from sudslock
bE: Ball sensor loose connection/out of order
EE: eeprom out test mode only
PF: power failure momentary interuption of shocktricity

Must be some sediment in the water level pressure hose. Blow out the sediment, reconnect the hos, pump out the water and retry. This is an lg washer. You may only need to set or reset the water level frequency. I have service manuals and notes HERE

No am radio

You realize that the MW is the AM stations....I don't know
why they didn't just put AM on the band select...
Also I could not get MW (AM) on my set once and the
reason was that it was too close to my laptop...
It was interfering with the radio.....
