How do I disabled the touch pad and only use an external mouse and the keyboard on the lap top?

You do not have to actually disable the touch pad on this laptop to use an "external" mouse. Just plug in your mouse and it will install the drivers if needed and viola, your good to go. If you insist on disabling your touch pad however, you can do that by double tapping the top left hand corner, when you do this correctly, a little orange light will show and the screen will show a notification the the touch pad is disabled. To enable the pad back on, just repeat the same step you used to disable, and the on screen notification will indicate the touch pad is enabled!

There are not working the touch pad

Hi,
Have you checked that the touch pad is enabled, as Acer uses something like the FN F7 keys to enable disable the touch pad.

If still facing the same issue means you need to download the touch pad driver from the Acer website and you can fix the issue.
http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html
Select the product and download the Driver.
Please let me know whether this works or not.
