I have dell inspiron laptop and operating system is runing on my laptop is window 8.There is blinking problem in my laptop when it remove from charging. In every 5-7 sec it blink 2 times.please give me the...

The only definitive solution to this problem (rather than disabling various options) is to go windows service and disable the sensor service.
Do the following:
1. Press "Windows Key + R" to open the command menu.
2. Type "services.msc" and press enter
3. Scroll through the list of services and look for "sensor monitoring service"
4. Permanently "Disable" the service.
The "sensor monitoring service" may be used for multiple sensors, but most Dell Laptops have a ambient light sensor that dynamically changes the screen contrast and brightness. This is the only sure way to disable it.

I have a problem trying to turn on windows defender on my pc.. i try a few diferent ways but no luck.. can someone help with a solution that works for sure yhank s

At the startup of Windows XP, you may see an error that says "Unable to Start Windows Defender service". This issue occurs, if some of the registry entries are corrupted. Restarting the service from the service console may also prompt the same error.

To resolve this issue, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the Windows Defender. Follow the below mentioned steps:

1. Click Start, Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Click Windows Defender, and click Remove.

This will uninstall Windows Defender. You can download and reinstall the updated version from the following link:

I have installed the windows xp, after installing the os my system became very very slow

Deepak,  Possible reasons are:
  1. Free space on the drive on which xp is installed might be less. Try diskclean up and also diskfragmentation which is available in Start Menu -> Programs->Accessories-->System Tools.
  2. Services runing at the startup might be more, type msconfig in the Run prompt and go to services tab and uncheck the service which you know very well about it. Don't touch the sytem files / related services.
Let me know if this helps.
