Question about Computers & Internet
Hi, I have a built in dvd burner in my hp notebook. i have never had problems burning music or home videos before, but now it is coming up with two errors. 1) bad media 2) dvd burner is not connected. I have tried a couple types of media that I had on hand and several different ways to try and burn my disc, but nothing! it will get to 99% written and tell me one of the two error messages. HP Pavilion dv6326us Entertainment Notebook PC, with multi-media burner, light scribe capable.
If you have control over the burning speed, then lower it. besides that, make sure that your laptop is not over heating since alot of lenses (cdrom, dvd, cdrw) are affected by the system heat. clean out your fans by using compressed air. You may try to reseat the drive as well if you're able to unscrew it (usually there's one screw holding it in place at the bottom of lower shell yet it's not always the case for every laptop).
