Question about Pioneer DEH-P77DH CD Player

1 Answer

Hello. where do i start. i have spent 1500$ so far on my car stereo. i run 2 amps 1 subby and ran the stereo through a equalizer. for 3 months it all worked fine, no wierd noises no problems. had it cranked up one day then started the car up and fired the stereo up and there was engine noise running through the speakers. i ran some tests of my own to lose the noise and only 1 thing worked. disconnection of the amps. cd player works 100% by itself. i checked all grounds and all other wires and it was all fine. i tryed the amp out of the boot and had it sitting on the ground at the engine bay and had all new wires connected once again. same engine noise. is it true that pioneer have issues with there rca outs from there cd player?

Yes, some of their radios do have problems with the rca outs, the same thing has happened to me.

Martha ran 3/4 of a mile. abdul ran 1 1/2 times as matha. how far did abdul run

3/4 x 1 1/2

Make 1 1/2 into a mixed fraction by taking the integer and multiply it by the denominator (the bottom number) and add the numerator (the top number).

3/4 x 3/2 = 9/8

Good luck.

Sony how to change the bass on my sony mex bt3100u stereo

Hello Tom,

You may have to adjust the EQ7 Preset to XPLOD and then listen to the jam. Here are the instructions from the bt3100u manual:

Selecting the sound quality
- EQ7 Preset
You can select an equalizer curve from 7 equalizer curves ("XPLOD," "VOCAL," "EDGE," "CRUISE," "SPACE," "GRAVITY," "CUSTOM" or "OFF").
1 During reception/playback, press the select button.
2 Rotate the control dial until "EQ7 PRESET" appears, then press it.
3 Rotate the control dial until the desired equalizer curve appears, then press it.
4 Press (BACK).
The display returns to normal reception/play mode. To cancel the equalizer curve, repeat the first 2 steps then select "OFF" in step 3.
Tip
The equalizer curve setting can be memorized for each source.
We hope that this helps. If not please return and post how this went.

I want to create an if else statement with regards to this problem for ms excel 2007. the conditions are if month>=3 plus 1/2 but if not then minus 1/2.

It seems to have botched your sign before the =3 but lets say that you used "less than" or equal to 3.
(if you used Greater Than, then simply replace "less than" with "greater than" in the example here)

The easiest thing to do is subtract 1/2 no matter what and then say if month is less than or equal to 3 then add 1.
this way, if the month is NOT less or equal to 3, it has already subtracted 1/2, satisfying the "if not" part.
If the month IS less or equal, it adds 1 which compensates for the 1/2 we already subtracted, plus another 1/2 giving an end result of plus 1/2.

This makes it a simple, single if statement that is satisfied in the other direction without having to overcomplicate the issue.

Do i need a amp to connect equalizer to car stereo

hello yes but you will get the same audio output as you would without using an amp iff you are using high watt speakers it would be best to give them a bit of power you may connect the amp in line with the equalizer hence giving them the boost make sure you set the sound levels correctly on your stereo first like ballance both speakers then you can ajust the equalizer with your amp remember 2 /500watt speakers in line will accur a 500 to 1000 watt amp nothing more or you will blow your sound system
goodluck

How do I hook up the two stereo output RCA wires ( 1 L & 1R ) to the EQ input wires that are green/green&white & grey/grey&white?

you will only be able to control 1 pair of speakers, you can try an inline converter. always buy a stereo with 3 preouts especially if you plan on using equalizers/amps ect

I have 2 6x9 speakers up front 4 6 1/2 3-ways

Hello rjmiller4039,

Although amps with 5 channels are pretty rare, you can get one. Alpine, Boston Acoustics, Infinity, JL audio, MTX, and Polk all have 5-channels ranging in price from around $350 up to around $1,000. The Alpine PDX-5 will output 75X4 watts RMS for the front and rear stereo channels and 300 watts to the mono sub channel. It is priced at $599.99 at Crutchfield.

Hope this helps.

Transmission wont shift into 3rd gear.

I had this exact problem on my 2005 5.3L Suburban... It would shift into 1 and 2 and reverse, but not 3 and 4.

I took it into a transmission shop, and he said the 3-4 shift solenoid was burned up. Wanted 1500 to fix it. Far from home, so I have to pay it.

Whats is the perfect amp?

I have 2 of these 12" running in a Large slot ported box with an:
"Ultra Linear UL2402"
600RMS X 2 @ 4Ohm (Stereo) 1200RMS X 2 @ 2Ohm (Stereo) 2400RMS X 1 @ 2Ohm (Mono)
Can be run in Tri-mode with 3 8Ohm subs, which these subs are. I have not tried this mode. This is
600RMS X 2 @ 4Ohm = Max RMS of your subs. You should run the max of your subs, less wear on the amp you are using , and i doubt you will ever need to turn it up far before it blows out your trunk or window :P
1200RMS X 2 @ 2Ohm = Blown Subs!
Has 4 x 25amp fuses, most will tell you this only has an RMS of around 845, an "ultra linear circuit" produces twice the output power over Modern amps.
Can had on Ebay for around $100. I bought mine for $101.
This Amp pounds, i could quickly tell a difference going from 300RMS X 2 @ 4Ohm with a Kenwood amp. I Had to turn all my settings down on the new amp to have a better balance in sound.
