Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Have a Moto Milestone XT720. Want to root it and load a third party APK onto it. I downloaded the SDK / ADP interface and installed it on my XP box. The SDK manager part works fine and allows me to download and update the features. Small problem... so far the interface does not connect to the phone. If I try and run the ADP app a command window open for a few seconds and then closes. A bunch of text will scroll through the window while it is open but it is too fast to read any of it. So, my question is: If you install the SDK software and are unable to connect to your phone, what do you do? There is no information on the developer ste that addresses this issue as far as I can tell. The FixYa blurb said that there were "Android Experts" here but I do not see that category in the "pick an expert" list. So I chose computer software.
