Since you are unable to run any programs unfortunately the only option left is to reinstall windows (If Mac, follow the same instructions but use the OSX install disks bundled with the Mac.)

  1. You may want to back up any data (if possible)
  2. Find the Windows Install CD or the CD that shipped with your computer (if any)
  3. Put the disc in the computer and follow on screen instructions or you may need to put the CD in and restart the computer making sure it boots off the CD (Check the computer manual for more specific instructions on how to reinstall Windows)
If you are able to use any software, may i suggest:
AVG Free Antivirus (WINDOWS)
and/or
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (WINDOWS)

Autorun infection is a critical one.. It won't let you install any antivirus program. I spend 6 hours with my skills to desinfect a computer without antivirus software because the data stored on that computer was important and I had no backups.
I you have no important data on C: drive, is a good option to reinstall Windows. When installing windows make sure that you disconnect the internet and you have a fresh install on a good antivirus software prepared to be installed after windows installation is complete and make a full scan of your HDD even other partitions D: E: and others.
BEFORE ALL remove any USB Stick, SD Card, Floppy disk, Digital camera, phone, Mp3, Mp4, CD ohter than Windows instalation CD.

I have windows os and there is a autorun.inf something hidden file in my all drives.my avira antivirus has blocked that file.and i want to know that is the file safe or it is going to harm my pc.what...

Autorun.inf is the primary instruction file associated with the Autorun function. Autorun.inf itself is a simple text-based configuration file that tells the operating system which executable to start, which icon to use, and which additional menu commands to make available. In other words, autorun.inf tells Windows how to deal open the presentation and treat the contents of the CD.

That being said, it would depend on what it is trying to run automatically. If it is trying to run iTunes automatically that is one thing, but if it is running a virus automatically it would not be safe.

You can right click on the file, and edit it with notepad/wordpad to find out what program it is trying to run.

SYSTEM HANG

1. Clean your computer first by removing all the dust inside of your computer and put motor oil to your fan.
2. Check for viruses, anti-virus must updated in order to detect threat. Viruses, worm or auto-run are also capable to freeze your system.
3. Check the available space of your hard drives
4. Check also for the autorun program running every time when your windows is loading. Install usb disk security to terminate the autorun program.

Choose program to open with .... comes when i double click the hard disk partitions in MY computer

download a43 a file manager
run a43.exe and use it to explore your computer
check the "hidden file" option and look for an autorun file
delete the autorun file reboot and check with a43 again
if the autorun.inf file is still present on your harddisk then you have an infection\\
