Fluidmaster instructions

Turn off water at valve. Drain tank. Remove fill line that goes to bottom of tank. Remove large nut from underneath tank holding in old fill/float valve assembly. Clean area around hole in tank above and below. Get large black washer from kit put onto bottom of fluid-master pipe (lip side down). Place fluid-master into hole from top of tank to check height. Top of fluid-master valve should be even or just a bit below top of tank. To adjust hold head of fluid-master and turn pipe ccw to lengthen, cw to shorten. Once adjusted put into tank. Using large flat nut in kit tighten to tank, making sure its centered in the hole, no part of the float touching the sides of the tank, and that the small nipple on the side where the small black hose will attach is facing towards the overflow pipe. Make it nice and tight, but don\'t break it.Then re attach water supply line you removed earlier, hand tight only. Place pipe clip onto top of overflow pipe (funny looking plastic clip with metal piece attached). Attach small black hose to fill valve nipple on side of valve, other side to funny clip. You may need to cut it shorter so it doesn\'t kink. Tun on water and adjust float if required. Level should be 1/2" below top of overflow pipe.

Have a GE Frige # TBX18SAXPLWW. Large amounts of water collect on inside, bottom of frige. Back wall wet from frige/freezer temp control locate at upper most rear wall of unit. What could problem be?

When in defrost mode, frost is melted and the water is directed to a tray at the rear bottom of the freezer. A tube is connected to the bottom of the tray so the water is sent down the back of the refer to evaporate at the bottom.

The tube gets clogged with gunk, water backs up and freezes. Then, at the next defrost cycle the water has no place to go except into the refer interior.

Unload the freezer, remove the bottom plastic plate, let the ice melt, unclog the tube, put everything back together and you're good to go!

My amana frige leaks at the bottom, it is a bottom freezer frige, I moved it lately because I am laying laminate floor, any solutions?

In your shuffling of the refrigerator you may have knocked the condensate drain away from the pain near the compressor that evaporates the water back into the air inside your home. Or you may have the refrigerator leaning in a way that the water pools up near the condensate drain pipe beginning in the rear of the freezer and has frozen over and causing the water to drain over the condensate collector pan behind the rear wall of the freezer. Whirlpool Custom Series refrigerator leaks -Model ET18JKXSN05

It sounds like the line you found is for draining the water from the defrost cycle. It should drain the water from melting the ice into the pan at the bottom so it will evaporate. Sounds like its being clogged is the cause of the water in your fridge.

WATER DISPENCER DOES NOT WORK, YOU CAN HEART THE MOTOR GOING BUT

first thing to do is to remove the lower back panel behind the frige and disconet one of the water lines that goes to the top back of the frige and push the switch to get water with the line of. do that to the 2 lines one at to give you water back there. if none of the lines gives you water back there 100% that plastic valve needs replacing.

Water pressure

If you have a water filter, the filter might be too old and plugged. If you've replaced the filter or don't have one, I would check the water supply to the frige. You might have a kinked line. Also if you used a self piercing saddle valve on your plumbing supply it may be blocked. You would need to turn the water off to the house and replace it with a saddle valve that would require you to drill a hole in the water supply line. Also most friges have a tank in the frige to keep the water cold. If the frige is too cold it could freeze the tank. The average frige temp should be 35-36 deg.

How do I attatch the new plastic water lines to a dichwasher I am going to install? What fittings etc do I use?

Buy an install kit for the dishwasher. (preferably with a braided steel covered hose) That has an end that will fit the dishwasher, then ask at the hardware store what you will need to adapt to the plastic line. I really can't tell you without more information as to what kind and size of plastic pipe you have. This will be a standard plumbing part and will probably cost well under $5.
