Here is a listing of the default passwords to get into the administration software for most routers. Note that you have to use your browser to go to the IP number at the far right of the Buffalo listing. You will then be asked for a name and password.
If there was a password but it is forgotten you can reset to the default:
Look for the INIT button on bottom of the device. Press and hold for 15 seconds, and a sequence of beeping audibles will occur. The password has been changed to the default password.
