Red light next to clean filter is flashing. I have cleaned the filter & reinserted it, but the blinking has not stopped. There is no cooled air, just fan running. HELP!

The unit was installed approximately 20 months ago, & worked fine until the day I was leaving for a 2-week trip to the mainland. I noticed that the room was getting warmer, and saw the blinking light. I had been sewing on a synthetic fur, and it was sending fur particles everywhere, & I guess it clogged the filter. I could not get the filter out by sliding it in either direction, so I unscrewed the front plate and cleaned the filter thoroughly. I reassembled everything, and the light was still blinking, and still no cold air. I even unplugged the unit, thinking that might reset it, but to no avail. I left on my trip, and just returned to a very warm condo.

I just went over to the unit to look for a model number, and I was able to hold and reset the red light, but the air coming out is still not cool. Also, I can find no model number. I hope you can help me without it, because I am not sure where the owner's manual is.

    Susan

I was able to reset the blinking red light by holding it for a few seconds. Cool air started to pour out immediately. Thanks for trying to help.

Look at your remote carefully. There is a bal pen type push to reset filter button on the remote. Depress the rest button and it should reset. Also on the contol panel you can also reset it by depressing the mode and the UP temo arrow for 5 seconds.
It is a reminder to check the filter to see if it needs cleaning. Once you have checked/cleaned the filter and reinstalled it, press the filter button for 5 seconds and the light should go out.

Regards.........

Can you give me the exact model of the unit and I will do my best to assist you. How long have you owned the unit and how long have you had this problem?
Thank you,
Lee

Red power, blinking red temp

Hi,

if the Lamp error and Temperature error lights are flashing red this means that there are two separate errors.

  • A flashing lamp light means the lamp failed to ignite. It could be a lamp driver problem or lamp failure. Replace the lamp to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, then service the projector.
  • A flashing Temperature light signals a fan error. Turn the projector off and allow it to cool down. If the light is still flashing after the projector is turned back on, service the projector.
Goodluck..

Flashing red flight

Its probably the cleaning light that comes on periodically to remind you to clean the unit. Shut off the unit AND when you do so hold down the power button for several seconds until the flashing red light shuts off. The cleaning light should stay off until the next cleaning is due.

Per the Air-O-Swiss FAQ:

Q: Cleaning light is flashing (AOS U650, AOS 7135, AOS 7142, AOS 7144, AOS 7147)
A: Switch the unit OFF and unplug it. Empty the water in the base. Rinse the base with hot/clean water. Do not submerge the base! Visually inspect the base for dirt or mineral build up. If soft water is used decalcifying the unit every 4 weeks with EZ Cal is suggested. If hard water is used the unit should be decalcified every 2 weeks. Do not forget to reset the clean light after resetting the unit.

Q: Reset cleaning light (AOS U650, AOS 7135, AOS 7142, AOS 7144, AOS 7147)
A: The cleaning light does not automatically reset. Hold down the power button (button A in instruction manual) until the light stops flashing. The light automatically comes on approximately 14 days after plugging in the unit.

My data projector eiki LC-Xb23 goes off without warning and the warning light is flashing

If the power light & warning light both flash red, this indicates that the projector is overheating. Once the projector has cooled down the warning light would continue to flash red and the power light would be solid red.

You should clean the air filters.

The filters are located on the underside. Disconnect all cables and invert. remove the 2 air filters located at the front and rear by pullingthe latches. They are both rectangular in shape.

Being very careful not to damage them, you should rinse the dust out and leave them to dry fully before replacing them in the projector.

This should cure the problem.

I have HAIER HPAC 99ER Portable air conditioner and just quit working. There is a red flashing light blinking.

Make sure your filter & the coils (area under the filter) are clean or that the evaporated water is not overfilled by draining it manually by pulling the plug on the lower rear of the unit (into a bucket of course.) I'm hoping you had gotten an answer sooner...

Warning lights

Just so you know guys (and this procedure is not for the faint hearted!). I had the slow one second red warning light flash. I checked the bulb, which was find and I left it powered off for 48 hours. My projector is no longer under warranty and would have cost me over £300 to have it looked at. I ventured inside to inspect the boards, once I removed the main board to check the power supply I heard movement from one of the light ducts. It took me a while to removed enough to discover the fixing screw which holds the imaging cube in place (which is between the 3 light ducts and the projector lens) had come out (!?) and was rolling around inside the unit. This would also explain why sometimes I could not focus my unit properly. I remounted the imaging cube, put the whole thing back together and PRESTO! My projector is working again.

Kaz Honeywell Tower Air filter rest light

When the filter monitor light remains on, it is time to check/clean the IFD™ filters and reset the filter
monitor, if needed. With the unit powered on, insert the tip of a ball-point pen or paperclip next to the LED
filter check light and hold for approximately 5 seconds until the light turns off (Fig. 3). Depending upon
your individual usage (environment and hours used), you may need to check and clean the filters more or
less frequently. If the IFD™ filters are cleaned before the filter monitor light turns on, the filter monitor
should be reset at the same time.
