I just figured this out after a couple of fights between kids - 'he is crashing my helicopter!'.
The intructions say to set the helicopter frequency but there is no switch. They must have updated the controls without updating the manual.
When you turn the controller on it syncs up to the helicopter. The green light on the controller blinks a couple of times and tells the copter which frequency to listen to.
Start with both copters off. Turn on one helicopter and controller.
The green light above the on off switch will blink on and off.
THis indicates synching. Once they are synched turn off the first controller and turn on the second copter & controller & repeat.
If you don't get the synch try recharging the copter or taking batteries out of controller to get in into the sync mode. I have checked the site but there is no explanation of the 'right' way to sync the controller and helicopter. My way was trial and error and it finally worked. I will post again if I figure out a more exact way to do this

Mine's exactly the same as yours. Although the transmitter shows A B C the switch has only two positions, so there's a choice of two only. I doubt it's possible to fly 3 at the same time.

    Hi ,
my friends syma s107g has the same problem that 2 channels b and c can be chosen and I bought a s108g and have three positions. I do not exclude that the 2 position channel remote can be a fake one. also we can't fly them with others remote as a genuine one suppose that It could be done

Hi Tate,

The three channels refer to the control vectors available. All three are used at once,

For instance, on an RC Car or you would control the speed (either forward or back) and direction (left or right). These are two channel devices.

Now with helicopters (or submarines) you need a third channel for the vertical control.

So three channels gives you control of forward-backward; left-right and up-down on one device.

To control multiple devices simultaneously by multiple controllers they each must have their own frequency or in this case the IR equivalent. According to the company specs there is only one frequency.

The answer to your specific question: "What's the trick on flying 3 at the same time?" - Answer:Three people with three controllers standing more than 30 feet apart, One person with one controller controlling three copters set to respond to the same IR Frequency

Greetings tate258. In a nutshell, and capitalizing on a combination of a couple of responses here, the '3Ch' refers to (as previously mentioned) its available 3-axis of movements (up / down / forward and backwards). Yes for some reason, the transmitters do show an "A", "B", and "C" but it only flicks to two, back and forth (my three identical S107 transmitters all do this). Last but not least, you CAN fly three of these helis (at once) with one transmitter; I've personally done this with my three, but boy is that a wreck in the making!! (Don't recommend this at ALL! LOL!) Hope this helps...

    Kind regards, Rob J.

Why wont my RC helicopter respond to the controller

The Helicopter channel/frequency may need changing to match the channel/frequency on the transmitter.
OR change the transmitter channel/frequency to suit the helicopter.

SYMA S107 Helicopter. Advertised as 3 channel. Remote has channel marking of A B C, but the switch is only 2 position. How do you achieve 3 channels with only 2 position switch?

This helicopter have 2 channels I see.
Maybe A-B is first position and B-C is secound position channel. Helicopter have not switch ABC, simply turn off and turn on for change channel.

Had the exact same problem. Found the solution on an Amazon posting:

1. To enable this function make sure both remotes and both helicopters are off.

2. Set the first remote's channel switch to the leftmost position (it says A, B, and C, but the s107 only supports 2 channels). Turn the remote on.?

3. Turn the helicopter that you would like to bind to the remote on and set the helicopter down on a flat stable surface for about 5 seconds. Try the throttle and the helicopter should respond to this remote.?

4. Next, to enable the second helicopter, set the second remote's channel switch to the rightmost position (it says A, B, and C, but the S107 only supports 2 channels). Turn the remote on.?

5. Turn the second helicopter on and set the helicopter down on a flat stable surface for about 5 seconds. Try the throttle and the second helicopter should respond to this remote.?

This worked for us.

I bought 3 of the Syma S107 RC Heli's because it said the remote had 3 different channels. I see the Channel a,b,c on the transmitter but I don't see how I assign different channels to the 3 heli's and...

For one thing, there are only two channels. Although the transmitter shows a,b,c the switch has only two positions. The way to assign a channel to a heli is to turn it on and then simply operate the transmitter. The heli will lock itself onto the first frequency it receives, and start working. Before turning on the second heli, make the first transmitter is OFF, and set the second transmitter to the other channel. Turn on the second heli and simply operate the transmitter. The heli will lock itself onto the second transmitter's frequency, and start working. Then you can turn the first transmitter back on.

Not a complete solution but after much fruitless fiddling through the menu I eventually found that the programmes were actually there but under different channel numbers.
I searched a long way down the LIST of channels (on remote) The BBC1 channel I want is now 800 BBC. Selecting 1 on the remote still brings up BBC Wales.
This applies to my Humax 8000T PVR - I can't comment on other makes of Freeview box.

Programming the APS02BT2 remote

TO PROGRAM ADDITIONAL TRANSMITTERS:
1. Enter the vehicle, and turn the ignition key to the "on" position.
2. Press and release the valet push-button switch three times.
3. The dash LED will flash once, and the siren will "chirp" once, indicating the system is ready to accept programming for channel 1 or the arm/disarm and panic functions.
4. You can assign any of the three transmitter button functions listed below to channel 1.
a. Pressing button #1 on the keychain transmitter.
b. Pressing button #2 on the keychain transmitter.
c. Pressing both buttons simultaneously on the keychain transmitter.
5. Press and hold the selected choice a, b, or c above, until the siren emits a long "chirp" to confirm that programming of channel 1 was successful.
6. Press and release the valet push-button switch one time.
7. The dash mounted LED will flash 2 times, and the siren will "chirp" indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for the unlock/panic channel.(If you desire one button to control lock & unlock, move on to step 9)
8. Press and hold the selected remaining choice a, b, or c above, until the siren emits a long "chirp" to confirm that programming of unlock channel was successful.
9. Press and release the valet push-button switch one time.
10. The dash mounted LED will flash 3 times, and the siren will "chirp" indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for channel2, or the pulsed ground output for remote trunk release, remote car starter, etc.
11. Press and hold the selected remaining choice a, b, or c above, until the siren emits a long "chirp" to confirm that programming of channel 2 was successful.
12. Press and release the valet push-button switch one time.
13. The dash mounted LED will flash 4 times, and the siren will "chirp" indicating that the system is ready to accept programming for channel 3, or the additional pulsed ground output if available on your model. NOTE: If the program switch is operated again, the circuit will recycle through the program mode. In other words, press 1 time to access the lock function, 2 times to access the unlock function, 3 times to access the start function. When programming is complete, simply turn off the ignition switch to exit the program mode.

ERASING TRANSMITTERS IF THEY HAVE BEEN LOST OR STOLEN: NOTE: Before you begin to erase the lost or stolen transmitter(s), have all transmitters available that you wish to remain programmed. These will be used during the program process to identify transmitters that will continue to be used.

Enter the transmitter program mode:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position.
2. Within 10 seconds, press and release the valet/program switch three times. (Siren emits 1 short chirp indicating channel 1 has been entered)
3. Within 10 Seconds, press and hold the ARM or ARM/DISARM but-ton of the first transmitter you wish to remain stored into the control unit until a single chirp is heard from the siren.(Repeat this for each transmitter you wish to remain stored in the control unit). The receiver stores up to four transmitters. To be certain all transmitter slots in the receiver are occupied with transmitters you wish to continue to use, and all others are erased, you will have to fill all four receiver slots. If in step 3 you identified one transmitter, you will have to fill the additional 3 slots. If in step 3 you identified two transmitters, you will have to fill the additional two slots, etc...
4. Press and hold any unused button or combination of buttons until a long chirp is heard from the siren. Release and press the button or button combination again and again until all remaining slots are full. NOTE: The button or combination of buttons entered will also control the armor arm/disarm function until additional transmitters are added. All unwanted transmitters are now deleted.
