I'm having the same problem, but I cannot use that Install Cleanup utility because I have Microsoft Office 2007 and the documentation says it doesn't work with it. I've already done everything I can find on the HP website, as well as talking to their Tech Support, and nothing worked. I'm now headed for the Microsoft website to look. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem, but your solution was right on the money. It did take several hours, but the outcome was very worth it.

Ajkill, THAAAAAAAANK YOU! Holy hell. That HP error message **** was driving me straight crazy! That Windows Install Cleanup Utility did the trick ... but here's the rub:

After the removal of MSI.WebReg ... there are MORE to come when running the installation! MSI. Status, Destination, HPP this 'n that's ad nauseum. And the pure murder of it all is you get the error messages ONE AT A TIME! *sigh* Remove, uninstall what did go through, then Restart, get another error message, Remove, uninstall what did go through, then Restart ... Maddening for SURE! It took me the better part of 3.5 hours (frustration breaks included) to FINALLY install the HP software. Worth it, but damn!

    Thanks again!

    Greg

Because add/remove not publish all program service already installed do the following:

2- install the utility and run

4-now run the software provided from hp
