i have an LG DV9723P DVD player with 6711R1P070B remote. I have ben using the remote to control my Sony TV KV-T29SF8. It has just stopped working after my inlaws played with it. Manual lost and I think I need to reprogram my remote?

- I have the same problem which I mentioned here and nothing, but I would like to be more detailed as you mention that have not been shot in their constitutions and are reading this from a cell and also the part that says "I've just Sharp got a new bells'n'whistles "I thank you very much for your help

Assuming you have not shot your in-laws and are now reading this from a jail cell, if you hold down 'TV POWER' and press number '8' or '9' on the remote, you should get it working again. I've just got a new Sharp bells'n'whistles TV, and the remote doesn't work fot it at all. Bummer!!!
