My Smasung projection TV keeps flickering, also every hour or so the screen turns to a green flicker. I have to unplug the power cord and that temporarily fixes the problem. How do I stop the flickering?

I have a 32" RCA LCD tv , rlc3210 power input says

Is it hooked up with HDMI cable?

If so try unplugging the HDMI cable and re plugging the cable in, sometimes those cables work loose and if they are not tight, it will cause your screen to flicker. Happens to my TV once in awhile.

Picture flickers for 5-10 minutes then goes black

in the back of the t.v. there is a mother board. on the mother board ( im not sure what it is called so i will describe it)
it looks like a black tune. it has a red wire comeing out of he top going to the front of the t.v. connecting to the picture tubes. now see what happens is that tube will heat up and sometimes loose connection. what i found to be helpful is to stick a peice of cardnpard under it so it gets a good connection again. but do becarful because it is high voltage....... so if you decide to try to work on the t.v. please unplug it first.

My 32inch lcd tv keeps flickering it started all the sudden

TRY THIS

    • 1 Turn the TV off with the front-mounted power button, not the remote. Unplug the TV's power cord from the wall outlet. Let an hour pass before plugging the cord back into the wall outlet. Turn the TV back on with the front-mounted power button and wait until it has fully restarted. Bring up a TV channel to see if the image being presented on the LCD screen is no longer flickering. A momentary power surge can cause the circuitry inside the LG-brand LCD TV to function erratically.
    • 2 Unplug the video cable from the video connection on the back or side panel of the LG TV. If more than one video cable is connected to the TV, disconnect all of them. Disconnect the other end of the video cable from the video source device that it's attached to -- a DVD or Blu-ray player, or a satellite receiver or cable box. Blow off the connections on the video source device and on the back or side panel of the TV with bursts of compressed air. Reinsert one end of the video cable into the video source device and the other end into the video input that it was connected to. Turn the TV back on with is remote to see if the picture is now free of flickering. A loose or partially connected video cable can cause the LCD TV's screen to flicker when presenting an image.
    • 3 Turn the TV off and unplug its power cord from the wall outlet. Place a power conditioner next to the wall outlet. Plug the power conditioner's power cord into the wall outlet. Plug the TV's power cord into one of the AC sockets on the power conditioner. Turn the power conditioner on. Turn the TV on to see if the picture is now free of flickering. The RF signals in the electric line that the LG TV is drawing power from can cause flicking through interference patterns being generated.

Plasma tv takes time to start then picture flickers really badly then picture returns as normaal for a few hours then goes black but still has sound i turn off tv for a number of hours & repeat the...

This tv seem to have two problems. The problems that the tv take a long time the tv to turn on,the tv power supply board have dying capacitors most likely. That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.The picture flickers badly this problems is harder to determine because this causes by two backlight buffers boards X,Z buffers boards could be either one it is dying. This tv should get an estamate by a shop or shops and repair it by them, bcause the tv must have to be doing replacing x munbers capacitors components to the tv power supply board and alot more work to trouble shoot and to detrmine which of the buffers boards it is the causes of to the picture screen to be badly flickers and replacing it.
