Question about Mitel 5220 IP Phone

Mitel IP5207 Hi there, We have given a client a number for which his clients call through to. When the call is picked up then a recording comes up saying press 1 for sales, press 2 for tech support etc. We have in the past programmed the numbers into the system and the numbers have now changed and we are unsure of how to change the settings. Can you help with steps of how to change this?? Thanks

You will need access via the web browser to the 3300 esm (database). Assuming you have a user log on ... select all forms alphabetical and select multi-level auto attendant. This will list all auto attendant boxes. High light the required one and click change. You can now change the option 1,2.. dialables

Interesting question. Thats what today call centers are doing with predictive dialer solution.

But if you dont want to go that much advanced, you can opt for CRM connectors. In general they are called CTI. Computer telephony integration.
For Mitel IP Phone, I dont know what PBX you are using.

The following are general steps.
1. Create CTI account in your PBX.
2. Download a CTI client.
3. Connect CTI client with your PBX and map with your extension.
4. Whenever you get a call a page will open. Opening a link when no answer is depends on CTI client.

With CTI API any one can write CTI apps.

The number of clients is 175 and the number of workers is 119...what is the % of case load?


Number of case workers - 119
Number of Clients - 175

175/119 = 1.47 clients per worker
% of clients per worker = 1.47/175 = 0.84%
So the worker is handling 0.84% of the total cases

We have given our clients the DS-40 recorders. One of the clients is having a problem with the computer automatically detecting the voice files. It worked for two days, then stopped. We went to the client,...


When the recorder is connected to the computer,it should be recognized as a device.Have your client go to my computer and click on the drive that represents the recorder and open the files from there.Once the drivers are in place,nothing should change.

Are you attempting to upgrade the firmware on the phone, or the phone system itself?
We have a SX-200 ICP and are currently in the process of upgrading so our teleworkers can use newer phones than the 5220's. It requires you have a current support agreement with your vendor because you have to be able to log into Mitel's Application Management Center (http://www.mitel-amc.com).
