No picture and no sound, but everything is still connected and running!
Ok, I was playing the Halflife 2 ep. 1 on the Orange box (not even for an hour) and the screen goes blank and the sound stops, but the console is still running... so I turn it off, wait a minute or 2 and try again... and it starts up fine, so I try to start a game of team fortress 2, and it gets all the way to the menu screen, and right when it loads the sound stops, but the menu screen is still up... and the controller won't work either, so i try to do the sync button thing and it won't work, my controller's 4 lights keep blinking like it's looking for the signal or something. So i trun it off again, wait alittle bit, and each time i turn it on it gets less and less farther loading up- so 2 hours later right when i turn it on it makes it about 2 seconds in and the screen goes blank and the sounds stops, and the contoller won't connect... so please! help me, it's not even a month old yet!

HI if you mean scart connectors on rear of DVD recorder, try swapping scart inputs on DVD recorder and if no joys then on set top box. (some units have 1 input designated for TV and the other for Set top box input)
For products with keypads on the control panel:
1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product. 2. Press and hold “# and 6′ keys. 3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in. 4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys. 5. Follow on printer screen instructions. For Box-type models:
1. Unplug the power cord from the printer. 2. Wait for 30 seconds. 3. Plug the power cable back in the printer and turn it on.
SP = Single Play (normal 1:1 recording) EP = Extended Play (normally allows two, four or even eight times the normal or Single Play length to be recorded, according to make/model.) Picture quality in EP will not be as good as SP.
My EPS on my mitsubishi colt 2006 stopped working about 8 months now, I changed the electronic box,but it started to work for ten minutes and then stopped.I carried it by some electricians and they put the computer on it, but it is not getting through.Could someone lend some assistance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Though I don't know the details of your camera and the tape you are playing, one explanation could be that the tape was recorded in "extended play" EP rather than "standard play" SP. Some VCRs and some cameras are incapable of playing back in EP, a mode where the tape moves at half speed so you can record more on the same tape. The result is that the tape playing back at regular speed appears twice as fast and fast forward will be even faster.
Unfortunately, unless your machine can be manually set to play back in EP (usually it is automatic) the solution is to play it back in a machine that can handle EP.
First off it's always best to start from scratch when it comes to home audio. LoL. Many times I've been in this situation.
So with everything disconnected. You should have your HDMI, COMPONENT, RCA(R,W,Y)
HDMI and COMPONENT are the exact same thing and in all preference COMPONENT is far better thand HDMI for the pure fact that each wire is in it's own casing and insualted to avoid feedback from the other wires.
Anyways, with everything disconnected we begin
From you Cable/satellite box- Run your HDMI cable from you cable box to your HDMI 1 input on your tv.(If your speakers were to work on your tv you would automaticaly get sound and picture)
That should be all that you should be running from you cable box. Now that we have one thing running we go to the next thing.
From your TV run your audio out (RCA Red/White) to your amp. Usually your preference but more than likely your TV IN on your amp.
With your amp now set on TV, you should automatically get sound from your tv. and if your running an HD cable box even though your only running RED/WHITE to your amp, you will still be receiving Digital sound.
Most new amps Should have a digital input and if your running and 1080iUp this one RCA plugin will give you dolby digital sound from your dvd player to your amp. Then running a video rca up to your tv, will give you the picture, while the digital out on your dvd player to your amp will give you dolby digital sound.
It's a basic simple step to get sound. Like a continuing current. So just as long as you have your cable to -- tv -- home theatre. Everything should work. Otherwise I would go and check your cables and make sure they are not faulty.
I hope this confusing walkthrough helps.
do everything you did before but just before you click ok for the 'test connection' on the wii console go to the livebox and press the 'number 1 button'.now click ok to test connection on wii.provided the 26 digit number is correct you should now get connected
the speed in EP is differ from sp ,EP it is much slow then all quality would be less cause you are using less magnetic particles on the tape so here are many reasons for bad recording
first may be you have to clean video heads
or ,you have to clean the path of the tape in the recorder there are some metal guides that turnes with the tape to get it rounds the heads they may be dirty
or clean the capstain pinch roller and its metal roller that makes it run ( the capstain roller )
or you should have new heasd drum sir
