To unlock install option on onida tv you need to
• Press `TV MENU` repeatedly and
• select SOUND or press TV MENU
• once and select SOUND by
• pressing keys. `SOUND` is highlighted.
• Press up /down key to enter `SOUND`
• sub-menu . This Menu
• allows you to adjust the VOL LOCK,
• BASS (Low Frequency Sound),
• TREBLE (High Frequency Sound)
• and BALANCE.
• Vol Lock:
• A certain maximum sound level can

• level cannot rise.
• ! Select VOL LOCK from sound
• menu using up/down keys.
• ! Vol Lock can be set `ON` or `OFF`

open your tv menu then dig up to parental ctl and change it`s setting or remove it from getting locked.your parent maybe did it,or you`re just in primary school?maybe they don`t like you to play computer games to this tv set...

Channel guard and V-Chip settings are protected by a four-digit lock code. Your TV comes

pre-set with a lock code of "0000". You may change the code to any four-digit number you
wish. To change the lock code, follow the steps below.
Press the MENU button
Press [UP/Down] button to SET LOCK CODE.
Press [=> / <=] buttons to operate [lock icon appears]
Press ZERO to acess the lock code. The first digit will be highligted.
Press [ => / <=] button to select the number.
Press [Up/Down] button to move the next digit and continue to follow these directions for all the four digits.
Press OK button to finish.
Press the menu button when finished
DO THIS AFTER UNPLUG THE TV FROM AC MAINS WALL SOCKET, AND LEAVE IT FOR ABOUT 30 MINUTES OR SO, REPLUG IT TO ac MAINS, AND DO ALL THE ABOVE SAID PROCEEDINGS. THIS PROCESS WILL ERASE ALL THE V-VHIP CODES, IF SET, AND WILL ALLOW YOU TO SET AN OTHER OF YOUR OWN. The default V-Chip code is [0000]. Ok.

Maybe the CHILD LOCK setting is activated. Go through your menu and check that, and turn it off if necessary.

If all else fails, unplug the power cord and leave it out for a few hours. This should clear the internal memory and reset to the default settings.

This was a while back and maybe you've fixed it already, but I just bought the same model and also only got background sound and no voices. Turned out it was because the sound was set to surround sound. There are instructions of how to change sound to Stereo in the back of the instruction booklet - go into setup - audio - speaker setup - down mix - change to stereo.

Menu > Settings > tab right to Handset > Restore Default Settings ... The default. Handset Lock Code is 0000 (unless you changed it). .... If you can't change the message service centre number maybe you can ask for a swap ...

To make necessary changes, first we need to enable hidden menues.

Go to Menu, press 9 (Settings and Tools), then press #
A "User Lock" screen appears. Enter all six zeroes: 000000

Here we get into hidden System Info menu.

Now we are in a Param Editor menu.

Go to Main Menu, choose 1 (Media center). There highlight Mobile Web (4) (don't press on it!) and press #

Now we are in the Browser settings menu.
The settings should be the following:

First, do a power cycle. By turning your phone off for 10-20 seconds. Turn back on, follow these steps: . Put the auto key lock as fast as possible, so that the phone would turn off it's screen faster.

Try changing the audio setting from BITSTREAM to PCM. On the remote select SETUP, AUDIO, DOLBY DIGITAL, then change the setting. Once selected turn off the DVD player without exiting the Menu. Turn back on again.
