" "
To whom it may concern:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

The model is DVP-NS67P ( Sony)
What can I do to fix this issue whenever I insert disc. the Dvd player is
telling that is limitations prohibited zone.

There is a way to provide me with the zone code for other country. Eg. for Europe.

Sincerely,
Moved from South Africa to Canada and bought DVD's in SA which we want to view in Canada. Due to power conversion we had to buy new DVD player and can't view any of our previously bought DVDs.

Code to switch off regional settings will be highly appreciated.

HI,

I'll let you know the region code for it.

- ok now give this a try:

Multi-Region:

Turn On the unit with the remote controller
Wait until "no disc" appears in the unit's display
Press Pause, 3, 1, 4, 1, 5, 9
The word "CODE" should appear in the display
Within five seconds, press the key that corresponds to the zone you want i.e. 0 for region free, 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2 and so on
Again, within 5 seconds, press Pause and Power
If the above fails to work then you may wish to try the following:

Put the player into Standby mode
Press 1 and Return on remote for region 1, 2 and Return for region 2, and so on. Use 0 and Return to return player to default region settings
Press P-Mode and Return to play DVD's with the selected region, auto-switching is Off
Press Audio and Return for auto-switching On
Press Angle and Return for MacroVision On
Press Subtitle and Return for MacroVision Off

- Here is a another prosedure:

1. Download the winsamp -package from Blank Frank's site.
This innovative piece of software allows you to send standard home electronics IR signals using a PC IRDA port.
2. Extract the package onto a bootable DOS floppy disk.
3. Download this IR code file and place it in the same directory as the package above.
This file holds the five necessary IR codes converted to the format used by Blank Frank's winsamp.exe. Please do not bother Frank with questions concerning this particular procedure.
4. Boot up your PC from the floppy disk and run winsamp.exe.
If your IRDA port doesn't appear as COM2 you may override this by using an appropriate command line switch. For example, use COM1 by running 'winsamp C1'.
5. Press the 'r' key to load up the codes into winsamp.
6. Make sure your DVD player is in standby mode and your IRDA port is within range.
7. Run the IR codes from 1 to 5 by pressing Enter on each corresponding button.
8. Your DVD player should start up and display the text "SUCCESS".
9. Repeat step 7. Your player should return to standby mode.
Your player is now multi-region.

You probably have the Video Standard to Automatic and it converted the video to PAL when you need NTSC.
Some (mostly NTSC) players are showing that warning when they encounter PAL DVD. There is no area code on ConvertXtoDVD converted disks, so no need to change or reset it.

Try to switch on setting-menu on screen on code 2 should be good its Azia 10+ timed zone
You can change it limited times and you need to be careful with that.
If you have problems email me on annj4215@gmail.com to solve that together.
Good luck!

Sony players will not let you change country codes. The region code where you purchase this is hardwired into your player. This is Sony's attempt to protect copyright violators.

Sorry, there is no other answer that will work.
