Question about Sakar MP3 Player

5 Answers

I have a swagger sakar mp3 music player - when you plug them into your computer with the USB wire, it is supposed to charge up. Does it have to be turned on or off or does it matter?

My daughter got one as a gift and she lost the user guide and her's isn't charging right either. Was kinda hoping someone could help but guess not. This is what happens when companies rush into building something without take the time to do field test first.

I am having the same problem, just got it on sale at jcp. I even called this number 1-877-397-8200. The guy told me to charge it for 6 hours, and a red light will blink and then it supposed to be ready to load music. Still not working for me, charged it for 15 hrs!

My computer will not recognize my Swagger 2GB MP3 Player. I need the drivers

This device does not require drivers. It will work out of the box on Windows ME/2000/XP/Vista/7. If yours does not work, there is a problem wither with the MP3 player or with your USB port.

I have the swagger 2gb and i cant figure out to download the mp3 to my mp3 player

1. Plug the small end of the USB cable into the player. Plug the other end into an available USB.
2. The player will light up with the red flashing LED light flashing to indicate that the device is recognized and ready for data transfer.
3. Wait for the computer to recognize the player.
4. The Removable Disk auto-run window will appear on your computer.

I can ot get my computer to recognize the mp3 player (swagger)

Actually, I don't have a solution. My mom bought one for me today. I connected it to my computer, and my computer recognized it. Then, I disconnected it. Some minutes later, I connected it again, to put music in it, and now my computer doesn't recognized it. I've tried with the on/off button, and it doesn't work.

The problem is that this is an "MP3 only player". Check the format of your audio files you ripping software is probably converting your CD's into MPEG-4 format, which I discovered will not play on this player.

I am currently searching for a patch from the company or looking for older ripping software for the MP3 format. My girls are waiting for me for fix rather than return the players they got from Grammy for Christmas.

Plug the USB cable they provided to a PC and hook the other end to the mp3 player. It takes about 4 hours to fully charge.

Swagger MP3 audio player does not hold a charge. I plugged it in overnight and could bearly play a song in the morning.

Most likely you have a full charge but the problem is FALSE Advertising! Swagger MP3 players only support MP3's downloaded from Amazon.com, any other MP3's will only play for a matter of seconds before shutting off. These players are a total rip off.

Got the small pink clip on style for Christmas. Went to recharge on my pc and it would not charge in the front USB port. Had to charge it in one of the back USB ports. Charged just fine, but now our computer(old Dell 2000 windows XP) is no longer working so we bought a new Dell Insprion. Cannot recharge it on my new computer. Called Dell and they said there is nothing they can do. Bought a 4 place USB universal charger and it will not charge it either. Not sure if this will help anybody, just sharing my experience.
