Check the plug - it might have a broken wire, by wiggling it in the jack. It could be the jack as well - try another headphone in the jack.

Why no more sound in left side? the right side is fine. i moved the left side like a seesaw, then i found where the sound occur. is it the wire connection problem inside the left side? what to do?

Opened up one of the earcups and dont ask me how it was just by force. The cable that connects the 2.5 to the speaker is frail and there is quite a bit of shielded cable that can rub against each other over time. I fixed it by removing the cable and soldering in two separate cables of similar size.

Left earpiece intermittent.

The electronic components are defective. It is not worth repairing unless you paid a lot of money for the head phones.

Boss oethe left side of my headphone is stop working

Hi,

The most common cause for this, is a loose wire connection to that speaker (as opposed to the speaker being faulty).

Has anyone pulled the cord too tight or tripped on the cord? If yes, then the internal wire connecting that speaker has an internal break somewhere.

Try the following:

1) Plug headphones into music device and turn on.
2) Gently press the wire 'in' at the left earpiece (or wiggle at the earpiece end). If sound returns intermittently, then you have n internal wire break in that end of the cord.
3) Gently press the wire 'in' at the plug where it connects to your player (or wiggle the cord at the plug end). If sound returns, then there is an internal wire break at this end of the cord.

In the case of broken internal wires, it is possible to repair.

Although very fragile, it is possible to resolder these tiny wires (you'll have to burn off the enamel coating around these wires first) back onto their respective connections, or onto a new plug.

Good luck....

Left ear bud lost all sound- no cord damage-only 5 months old...is it worth getting fixed by professional or is there something I can do to fix it ? H

The cords are sealed into the earphone. You can take a multimeter and test the continutity of the either earpieces, once you are convinced that the left side is faulty, first of all use a small thin needle as the probe, use your multimeter in the continuity range, holding one end of the meter probe to the jack , inset the pin like an ijection into the wires to obtain the connection, it there is no connection out of the headphone jack, I think you can replace with a new one to be soldered. If not proceed to the earpiece to confirm, then open the sealed unit and be lucky if the earpiece is not damaged but only the wires. Good Day

Left earpiece has no sound.. can that be fixed?

either theirs something that happaned to the wire like it got stretched out and the inside braided wires pulled apart or came disconnected from the piezoelectric elements, or you have blown the side out.

If I jiggle the cord in the stereo outliet, the sound switches from left to right earpiece and has to be just right in the outlet to get both earpieces working at the same time.

If you plug the headphones into another device do they stay on solid?
The problem can be the cord/plug (headphones) or the socket which your plugging into. Socket might need re-soldered or replaced.
