With the small amount of details you provided it sounds like either the battery is totally dead or the motherboard has a serious error.
Try taking the battery out and holding the power button down for at least 20 seconds. Then plug in your charger to the laptop without reinstalling the battery. If you get no lights showing then most likely your power supply port is bad or your motherboard has a short. IF it does light up then try to turn the laptop on. You may just have a really bad battery.
