SOURCE: dishwasher will not cycle. pump

Does the motor turn and is not stuck? If it is free, then you may want to get a tester. An ohmmeter and a voltmeter. Test the door switch with an ohmmeter. A bad door switch can cause problems.
There is also a timer that can cause some problems as well. You can test the power coming out of it with the meter.
If those test out ok, check for a hi-temp thermostat. That can be tested with an ohmmeter. Should be between 11 and 30 ohms.
If those check out ok, then it's on to the control board.

Partselect . com has parts diagrams and more if you need pics and diagrams of the machine.

SOURCE: My kitchen aid dishwasher will

check all cables especially the ribbon cables from the user interface to the electronic control assembly as steam from dishwashings will create small amounts of corrosion and inhibit signals to and from these 2 components, unplug each, inspect, and reconnect,if this fails, then replace the electronic control assembly located behind the user interface you previously replaced

SOURCE: hi, i am having an ongoing problem with my

Hi

It may be an issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump. If yes then please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Have a Miele G1220SC dishwasher. It recently developed a strange problem: when switching it on ALL program lights come on and the machine starts taking water. after a while it stops taking water and starts...

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

Heating Element

If lights are flashing on the control panel, the heating element might have burned out. The heating element heats the water up to operating temperature. After a set amount of time if the temperature isn't reached a light on the control panel might start flashing. The heating element can be checked for continuity with an Ohm meter.

Check Fault Codes

If the display lights are flashing and there is an error code in the display window, check the wiring diagram and tech sheet in the dishwasher that will provide information on the fault.

Drain Pump

If lights are flashing on the control panel, the drain pump might not be working properly. For two-wire drain pump motors check them for continuity using an Ohm meter. If it's defective You'll need to replace it. Drain pumps are not repairable.

Touchpad and Control Panel

If the lights are flashing on the display the entire touchpad and control panel assembly might be defective. If the display works but the dishwasher functions are all out of synch, or some of the buttons don't respond properly the entire touchpad and control panel might need to be replaced.

I am getting an OE code on my dishwasher

Hi

OE in your dishwasher is a drain error and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. If the issue returns after cleaning then the drain pump assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly located inside the lower front panel of the dishwasher. If the issue returns after its cleaned then try to reset the dishwasher control by pressing the HEATED DRY button and hold it for 15 seconds, if its still not resolved then it means that the control board has gone bad and should be replaced.
