How get my WF-3640 Printer to print. It keeps saying "Paper type does not match paper settings."

Your printer comes with software used by the computer to control how it prints. Open the printer software and then select print setup. Under that screen somewhere there is paper size selection. Make sure it is set to whatever size paper you have in the printer (i.e., 8-1/2" x 11", etc.). All it is is a size paper mismatch. The computer is trying to tell the printer to print on one size of paper and the printer is saying it can because it has a different size of paper in it.

Most likely paper size is wrong and when the button is pushed on the printer it's just saying to keep printing no matter what size the paper is on the printer.
Please change the paper type on the printer settings to A4

I hope i was of any help to you. If so, please rate me.
Thank you.

We are having trouble printing on A4 paper. It keeps saying load paper. What are we doing wrong?

that come across as a very silly question! - what printer, pick one out of a thousand...

It may be that your PC is sending the wrong size to the ptr. Outlook typically sends "Letter" size and the printer may expect A4 and you gotta override (in HP ptrs. ) by pressing the GO button...

Keeps giving me the error "Wrong paper Size"

The paper setting is either set to a differant paper size. In which case you can adjust this in the settings menu of the printer on the computer.
Or. You have the wrong paper tray inserted.

Printer is saying the wrong size paper , wont print... Is that a setting in printer or is it software

depends on the printer. check the printer menus. check the printer trays. if they are not set correctly, they will show as wrong paper size.

Pinting problem

First, go to the following link and scroll down to where it says "Paper sizes" to make sure the size of paper you are using is on the list. If it's not, then you will not be able to use whatever size paper you want to print on.

Product Specifications

The only other thing you can do that I can think of is to go to the following link and then click on "Set paper size". You may be able to set your printer to accept the size of paper you want to use:

Good luck.
