I had the same problem, and found that the boom was not opening up all the way. I held the phone icon button down with the boom closed until the light ring turned purple.....then opened the boom and held it all the way open with slight pressure....all this while holding the phone icon button down. After 5 sec. I released the button and the headset was in pairing mode. :)

Keep the headset closed, push and hold the big button on the front (the one with the phone icon on it) and then open up the boom. The light ring around the phone button should turn purple. . .

DO NOT LET THE BUTTON GO YET!! Count "One One thousand. ....Two One thousand. ...Three One thousand. ..Four!" then let the phone button go. You should be in pairing mode now.

Sometimes it takes several attempts, so keep at it if you don't succeed.

HOW DO I PAIR MY MOTOROLLA H700 TO MY IPHONE

The H700 is a little picky when pairing.
Make sure the H700 is fully charged.
1. Leave the H700 Microphone closed and hold down the button until it turns purple. 2. Once the light is purple, open the microphone. (If it turns blue then start over. This is normal operation mode not pairing.) 3. Go into iPhone Settings>General>Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on 4. H700 should appear on the screen. Select it. 5. If the device asks for the Device PIN, enter: "0000" 6. The two are now paired.
The H700 may leave pairing mode during the process. This is the pickiness I mentioned. If it does then just restart the process. It may take several tries or it may work on the first shot. Just be patient.

Dont know how to put device in discoverable mode

I might be wrong, but I think there are some H700 headsets which support smart find. If this is your case, you must ensure that all the bluetooth enabled devices, which have been previously paired with it, have their bluetooth radios turned off. Then, some 5 seconds after you open the headset's boom, the light should become steadily lit, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Otherwise (i.e. if it doesn't support smart find), with its boom closed, press the call button for some 5 seconds, until the light is steadily lit. Then, open the boom. Either way, turn on the bluetooth radio of the device you now want to pair your headset with, and make it search for new devices. After a while, the H700 should appear in the device' screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Regards, Carlos

I just bought a bluetooth and my son put a random pin number and now i cant get acces to my device

Your headset will indicate it is in pairing mode when its indicator light is steadily lit in purple. Open the headset boom. If it has never been paired with any bluetooth headset before, it will enter the paring mode right away. If it has been previously paired, make sure the bluetooth radio of that(those) device(s) are turned off, and after some 5 to 10 seconds, you'll see it is in pairing mode.
Now, on your phone's bluetooth application, delete the H700 from the list of paired devices (if it is there, that is), and make it search for new devices. After a while, the H700 will show on screen. Select it and command it to proceed. If a passkey (or PIN, or pairing code) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).

By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, you can download it from this location.

Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos

Motorola H700 won't pair with LG CU720 phone

You will need to enter pairing mode on your device. The H700 User Manual indicates that you do so by first turning off any previously paired device and opening the headset BOOM. The indicator light should light a steady purple while in pairing mode.

You may not need to turn off your phone if you do not desire this, you may be able to get by turning the blue tooth function off and on, on your phone and attempt to pair again.

Pairing Pin is likely 0000.

H-700 motorolla bluetooth

1. Bluetooth enabled?

Hold down the connect button on headset until steady purple light comes on, then open the boom.

Search for Bluetooth devices on the phone. When asked for a pin, use "0000". Now the H700 will show up in the Bluetooth device list, but it will not connect. Put the headset in pairing mode again, this time go to the h700 listed on the phone and select connect. Now the devices will work as normal. When you open the boom on the h700, it will connect to the phone.

Does this headset pair with a helio ocean?

I have a helio ocean and the h700 works great with it, of course i cant seem to get the headset to play the ringtones, instead it just beeps but other then that its great, most people say they cant even tell im on a bluetooth.

Is the purple light coming on when you try to pair the devices? I used the discovery mode to pair them. so if the find device option doesnt work try that one. but make sure that you hold the call bottom on the headset until it turns like a light blue almost purple color and it stays that color for a while.

TRYING TO PAIR THE H700 TO MY TMOBILE WING

Just have to re-pair it.With the H700 BT headsets the pairing mode is different from other BT headsets. to put it in pairing mode you first hold the talk button on the headset until the purple light comes on.Right after the purple light comes on you have to flip open the headset for it to stay in pairing mode. From there you continue through the phone. It will ask for a password; that will be "0000". then connect.
