The sound you are hearing is the check valve.
Usually this valve is just above the pump.
It's nothing to be concerned about, it's a normal
noise, or it's the nature of the beast.

All my best to you.

6 knocks (like code) when the door is sealed AND dishwasher is NOT RUNNING??

I am clueless too, no machine I know of communicates in "knocks." There are some models that have a diverter disc that rotates, some have drain pumps that operate at certain times... have you tried to determine if the noise is under the machine or inside of it? remove the bottom panel and see if it changes the character of the noise...

Alarm won't shut off

This system does not have an alarm. The accessory alarm is something else. Check it's sensor and make sure it didn't get knocked into the pit.

Will start if i put gas down the port/carb seems to have fuel press at test port,,changed the rotor/dist. cap, don,t allway have fuel press may be the knock sensor ?shutting it down. it was hard startind...

sounds like fuel pump relay. next time it want start pull the ecm bat fuse for a few seconds see if it will crank then. knock sensor will not cause this. ecm bat fuse it works the fuel pump relay, fuel pump, injectors, ignition system an the pcm. also the oil pressure switch will shut down the fuel pump if oil pressure drops below recommended pressure . check the connectors on these things that not loose or corrioded.i think you will find the fuel pump relay is what this relay is the problem. this relay maybe in dash or under hood in the relay box.

Started up my acura tl 2000 and started to hear knocking and shut off

Check oil level and oil pump. Oil pump light should turn off after a few seconds after start up. If light stays on for more then 3 second shut off and do not drive or run motor.

yea you have no fuel and sound like a bad harness and the gm's are know for there fuel pump harness's! did you change it when you changed the pump? there is a lose connection somewhere in the fuel delivery system and it's pretty simply! i would check the fuel pump relay on the left hand side of the engine compartment and maybe even put power to the pump at the relay position "b" on the fuel pump relay harness and there should be a one pin connector to put power to also connected to the same position on the relay "b" the wire should be tan and white! good luck

I can't put gas in my car without the pump shutting off every five seconds. I think the metal flap where you put the gas pump into the car fell into the line. what can i do to get it out?

On most modern gas pumps there is a sensor in the tip of the nozzle. When it feels to much pressure or liquid it shuts the pump off. When you are filling your tank you need to leave a little room for air to come out. Try to not put the nozzle in as far and see if that will work. You will only need to leave a little bit of room. Hope it helps!
