Question about Nintendo Wii Console

1 Answer

I haven't been playing my wii for a few months, but today I wanted to play, so I tried turning it on, and it didn't turn on! It was still all hooked up, but the red light isn't even on. I'm sure it's set up right, I haven't changed anything. I've only used the stupid thing once before, so I haven't thrown it at a wall or anything, it simply won't turn on! (I bought it last christmas)

Just make sure it is plugged in.If it was plugged in the whole time, you may simply need to unplug it for 5 minutes to reset the power transformer. If that doesn't work, you probably need a new power adapter. If you have anything that you do not use for months on end,you should unplug it and if it is battery operated, remove the batteries.Batteries erode very quickly when not used, and could make whatever they are in completely useless trash. Here is a link to Nintendo for further help and possible parts dealers. You can also try their troubleshooting help, but there won't be much difference from what I mentioned.Good luck,Greg

You are welcome. That is a typical reset feature for most digital electronics.Basically, digital is about anything which can be programmed.Except microwaves and perhaps a couple other things.Things which chould work resetting due to lock up also include modems, ovens,DVR's,it is tough to define because of so many items but always give that a try first. Some take 30 seconds, some up to 5 minutes so I always just say 5 minutes.Greg

Asus A52F-X3 not working

It might be an overheating issue or the laptop has some dirt inside it so it cannot boot. It could also be a defective hard drive. The best thing that I could advice you is to bring that to a technician because that's a complicated issue (hardware related) and only a technician can fix that.

Every time I start my game it says. "Synchronizing NBA Today please wait" and it goes on FOREVER. And there is a long buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzBut everything else works fine. I can't even turn my Wii...

go to your Wii settings and turn off the internet so there's no way to get to NBA Today. Then the sychronize part is excluded when you start loading to play.Sorry, but you can't play online though

When I turn my Wii on, I just get a black screen.

all experts will advise the same,

As your Wii is only a month old, i would suggest taking it back to the store or ringing nintendo as its in warrentee, dont try repairing it yourself as it will void the warentee.

hope this helps

How to play wii rockband guitar, drums without the microphone

Was your mic hooked up when the system was turned on? The mic is probably signed in. The mic needs to be reconnected and signed out. Or reboot the whole system with what you want to use plugged in only.
