Question about Panasonic AG-HMC150 AVC Camcorder
The most likely cause of this is a bad on/off switch. Unfortunately, to find out, you have to disassemble the unit to check it. It's possible that it's a board problem, but that's not likely.
I would run it by a camera repair shop and see what they think, and how much they'd charge.
You can also contact Panasonic Support to see if they have any suggestions, or what they can do.
As a last thought, check to make sure your power adapter and battery are good.
