The engine control knob of my talon harrier mach 559 optiva 550 lawn mowercame apart and need to know how to put it back together please

Here is a source for the exploded views. Enter your model number as "PPB430VS" and chose your type number. This type number is the last of the serial number after the dash.

Start at the fuel tank. Check the condition of the fuel filter, the fuel line inside the tank. Then check all fuel lines for brittleness and cracks. Then check the condition of the primer bulb. Last, but not least, remove the cover on the carburetor without the vent-hole in it and inside should be a very small circular fine-mesh screen. Make sure the screen is clean; if not, clean it.

You must have model numbers to get any real help. If you mean you took the motor apart, you could go to www.briggsandstratton.com/ and download a manual.

Find your model number on your motor and enter on web site.

i would suggest if you tore it down and dont know how to replace it all buy the book on it so you do everything correctly.every engine has a how to book.check with local lawn and garden dealers.

you dont need a diagram. i used to work for a place where we rebuilt all kinds of gas and electric power tools and etc.. my experiance from trimmers the exact same way you take apart you put it back together. and you dont rebuild the engine you replace the muffler, the sensor, the spark plug, the rotor,and you can really take apart the carb.and clean it and put it back on
