Re - Assemble

Please dont laugh;

I have taken my bissel proheat 2x apart to fix it. Well I got the brushes to spin allright,... only I kinda mixed up the hoses and now they are not in the correct um.... place. I need DUMMY instructions on how to re-assemble my steamer. I do not have a genius handy so I pretty much have to do it all myself.

Please help !!

I cannot get any spray from my bissell proheat 2x What can I do to fix it?

It may be an issue with the heater. I had this happen to my unit also and to fix, I took it apart and soaked the heating unit in CLR (vinegar would work also). The heating unit is located in the handle of the unit. You will need to take a screw driver and remove all of the screws to get to it. Take photos of where everything goes for reference. Once you get to the heating unit, (it looks like a metal square with an inlet and outlet plastic tubbing), you will need to remove the screws and pry apart from the rubber gasket and then scrape out all the calcium/mineral build up with a flat edge and then soak over night. Finally, take a wire brush and finish cleaning it out and rinse good. Then refer back to your pics to re-assemble. It should work now. In the future, I would mix some limeaway/clr/vinegar into the water and then just run it through the system to keep the buildup from clogging the heater mainly as well as the spray tips and tubing. I hope this helps!

Brushes aren't turning on Bissell Proheat 2X and it is almost new.

New or old,flip the vacumm over,and remove the long hair and debris from the roller brushes. If they don't spin after removing any debris,the
belt,that turns the brushes has come off,or the motor is bad. You wil
have to take the bottom section apart,to see what's going on,then.
Good luck.

Check the brush motor, I have had to replace of few of them. If the brushes aren't turning, this could be the problem.
