I CAN NOT GET A WIRELSS NETWORK AT MY LOCATION CAN I INSTALL MY NEW ROKU

You need to have your own wireless network or if the Roku has an ethernet port, you can connect the Roku via ethernet cable instead and plug it to your router.

Remember: one of the requirements for Roku to work is High-speed Internet connection-Roku recommends using either a wired or wireless router

How is a wireless system different from a hardwire security system?

Wireless systems are much easier to install. It really depends on the place you want to secure. Two-story homes are ideal for wireless due to installation ease. On the other hand, one-story homes and business may be more suitable to hardwire systems. There is no difference in the operation.

I have a DG834N wirelss router, it has recently kept doping the netwrk connection both wireless and wired, the only way to overcome the problem is to reboot the router, any idea why or solutions?

Sometimes the ISP (Internet Service Provider) might have done something on their network that is causing it.

Try removing the power cord from the modem and the router. Then plug the power cord into the modem only and let it cycle up for about 2 minutes. Then plug the power cord into the router and let it cycle up.

If it still drops, then the router could be going bad.

I have a remote for tv manufactured 2010 . remote #bn59-01042a and want to use it to control surround sound jvc power unit how do i program it?

One Remote for Multiple Devices The way to control external devices with that remote is to use Anynet+. Check your owner's manual for it. It's listed as an application on the tv menu.

With Anynet+, just one remote control that works with up to a dozen devices, using HDMI cables to connect them to your HD TV. That means HDMI provides superior audio and video quality, neatly connected.
You can control a cable box, DVD or Blu-ray player, home theater system and more through the Anynet+ network-and that includes devices such as digital cameras and camcorders. One thing to remember-the devices must be Anynet+ enabled for the network to activate.

Exclusive Samsung Technology
The technology was introduced by Samsung in 2007, and has been upgraded since then. It's exclusive to Samsung products.
How Anynet+ Works It's a wired network system. By accessing a special menu on your Samsung TVs, you can control any connected device using nothing but the Anynet+ remote.
The remote adjusts volume and picture on any component. In fact, Anynet+ is so smart that the moment you insert a movie disc into a Blu-ray or DVD player, all AV equipment connected to your TV automatically turns on, including external speakers.
Another nice feature is that you don't need to have a component within your line of sight to make it work. In fact, you can have your whole Anynet+ system enclosed within a cabinet, and still be able to control it.

A Simple System
Anynet+ does all the work for you. Multiple devices are consolidated into one easy system-a central location for viewing home movies and pictures, too. There's no confusing networking or complicated wiring to set up. The touch of one button turns everything on or off, or puts everything into standby mode.

No Audio Out through the Optical OUT jack

First and foremost when the chance comes along buy a Harmony remote. Your spouse will love the simplification. A couple of things, On the tv with the optical hose connected and the other end in your hand, do you see the light. Its not a laser and eye safe. Should be a red glow. If not, implies two things the tvs optical is bad or it needs to be enabled via tv menu audio settings. If you see the red glow, then its a protocol issue. Verify your tv is setup on the proper audio mode that your receiver is wanting to see. Probably PCM. I am not directly farmiliar with the tv, but using the dish receiver as a reference (you know its working) set the audio options on the tv similar to the dish receiver. IE pcm, dts, etc.. Let me know thanks

Won't play videos and Library updates slowly I have a DMA2100 and am having trouble setting it up properly to work with a storage device - Netgear ReadyNAS Duo. I store my videos, pictures and music on this device and have tried configuring in several different ways. I can get the DMA 2100 to work sometimes. It appears to connect properly to my HP Vista laptop but I experience some of the setup and symptoms below: 1) Router - DLINK DIR655 2) Linksys DMA2100 - connected to the network via ethernet 3) HP 8510p Laptop Vista Ultimate (SP2) - connected to the network via wireless 4) Netgear ReadyNAS Duo - connected to the network via ethernet 5) Playing videos from DMA2100 - I select the movie from my library (stored on ReadyNAS Duo) - I get the following error no matter how many times I try to play it. ?Cannot Play Video? The file type is not recognized and cannot be played. Either the correct codec blahblahblah? ? - I then go to my Vista laptop, select the same movie and let it play it at least a few seconds, stop and close it. - I go back and select the same movie on my media extender and it will suddenly work! - Its almost as if it needs to be preloaded on the Vista machine first. This seems an unnecessary step to watch movies on my extender and am trying to figure out why this is happening. 6) Getting DMA2100 to update Library is excessively long if at all. I suspect that I have an improper setup at the storage device or the Vista Laptop Any ideas???? Your help is appreciated.
