Question about Panasonic DMR-EZ47V DVD Recorder/VCR
I know this may seem very easy and trivial but if you unplug the unit for an hour it should reset to factory specifications when you plug it back in. This should solve your problem. If it doesn't try playing a DVD. If it plays then there is a bigger problem which you probably cannot solve (electronic). If it does not play I would try cleaning the laser assembly. This is a process which needs to be done correctly. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4119308-clean_lense_cd_or_dvd_player which explains the process and where to get any materials you may need.
Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating. Ratings will keep experts helping to solve everyone's problems. Thank you very much.
