You have to remove all the screws on the rear base of the set,and underneath the speaker grilles,then separate the front and back.

Temp light flashes tried unplugging it for a few minutes turned it on tries to power up but then power , lamp , temp lights flash for a few seconds then it shuts down and temp light stays on

It sounds like you have a thermal issue. The TV is getting too hot or the Thermal Fuse is bad. The thermal fuse detects the temperature in the TV and tells the TV to shut down if it thinks it is too hot. Most likely caused by poor ventilation or clogged fans from household dust. Try moving TV away from wall or cabinet first, if this does not fix the problem, clean ALL the fans in the TV. If problem still persists, replace the thermal fuse.

Sony KF-50WE610 Tv won't turn on, red light blinks 6 times

3 times means Lamp and 6 means you have lost a voltage. You may have a thermal fuse blown.
This set has a common trouble with overheating caused by the drum fan located on top of the lamp housing clogged up with dust. When the lamp is getting old it runs hotter and that combined with the fan being clogged the thermal fuse blows. You must replace the lamp and thermal fuse. You must also clean out or replace the lamp fan. This drum type fan should be cleaned out every year or two depending on the environment.

Pt456c12 wont come on blinks green at the on off light

Good Day, teagues;
It sounds like a bad lamp. Lamps normally have a 5,000-hour life. Looking at the lamp can tell you if it’s bad if it looks burnt, but not always. Your Panasonic TV is also known for having failure of the ballast, which turns the lamp on. 95% of the time it’s the lamp, trouble shooting the ballast is a little more challenging.
The lamp replacement is a very simple process; instructions are in the TV’s owner’s manual. Call the factory, they will send you the lamp to your home with complete detailed instructions.

Good Luck, Big Irish.

I have a panasonic pt-45lc12

If you are not a tech you don't want to mess with the voltage that feeds the lamp. The vibration of moving the set can cause the lamp to go bad. blinking LED is usually a sign the lamp is bad. It is a good Idea to open the lamp door and then close it again to make sure the door switch isn't the problem

Replacing Thermal Fuse in Sony Grand Wega KDF-E55A20

The PROPER way to replace the thermal fuse is to remove the optical block first. There are at least two recessed screws holding the block in place. BE VERY CAREFUL removing the block as it is very easy to tear/rip wires when doing so. I cannot emphasize enough NOT TO JUST THROW THE NEW THERMAL FUSE INSIDE THE CABINET!!!! The thermal fuse is a safety device mounted near the lamp to prevent overheating. Those that choose to just let the fuse "sit out in the open air" are risking greater failures and the possibility of fire.

Sony model KDF55WF655 blinking light 6 red flashes,no picture,no sound....
I just replaced my thermal fuse for $4.80 plus shipping handling.Took me 30 minutes to fix and 30 minutes to get dust out of TV.Take off the back of the tv about 8 screws,then remove the fan housing on the right hand side about 4 screws.If you have the new fuse you will know which wire it is ..grey and white.I found it easy to get to the other end through the front panel of the tv only 2 screws ,remove front panel and then remove cover on projection bulb and you will see the other end of the fuse clipped on.Remember to unplug tv. TV is working excellent now .
Thanks to everyone on this website.I have pictures if anyone needs them to repair it.
