Do you mean, the way it was the day you got it? If so, you can run a "restore" which is done by inserting the Restore CD that came with the system. In the case of HP, most of these will display "hit F11" for system restore.

ALL and ANY information on your pc will be destroyed.

Hi, Thanks for using fixya.

Things to try:
1. With the device connected to the usb port Right click on My Computer/Computer choose manage. On the left side make sure storage is expanded double click disk management on the left upper side see if Seagate is listed. If it isn't go to try 2. If it is on the lower part find your Seagate right click on it choose change drive letter and paths. Click on change, take note of what the drive letter is now (you'll need to change it back later), you will see a drop down arrow click that choose the first available letter, Now click on change. Open My Computer/Computer see if it is now listed. If it is go back and change the drive letter to what it was before.

2. With the device connected to the usb port reboot your computer when it comes back, open My Computer/Computer see if it is now listed. If it isn't next step.

3. Take another device such as: camera flash drive ect Pull the Seagate from the usb port and place the other device cable into it. If it is not listed in My Computer/Computer try another usb port if it is listed take the Seagate back to where you purchased it, See if it is under warranty If not replace the Seagate sorry but your data may be lost.

Hp monitor immediatly goes to sleep says no hdmi input but nothing was changed

hi this is john

Have you changed the resolution back to what it was when the monitor worked with the HDMI cable?

After you change the resolution back, you should try shutting down the computer, changing the connections, then booting back up and seeing if you still have the same problem.

Nobody is using your computer, so you don't have to worry about that. To change your computer back to normal hold down the Control, Option/Alt, Command, and "8" keys. This will change your desktop back to its normal state
