Question about Polaris 3900 Sport Pool Cleaner ()
A cleaner going in circles is an indication of a problem with the drive mechanism on the same side as the unit turns. If cleaner uses drive belts, check them for tension or wear. If direct drive, it may be either the drive linkage or a damaged/worn impeller. Unless your are confident with repairing the unit yourself, this is a job for an experienced pool equipment technician. You can still troubleshoot the problem by running the unit on its side in shallow water and observing the relative drive speeds on each side.
