Question about Olevia Televison & Video
The black square problem in most sets I have seen is due to closed caption being enabled. Try disabling the closed caption and I am positive that it will resolve the problem. If you do not know how to do it then please get me the make and model of your tv, so that I can help you resolve the problem.

It is most likely related to the Closed Captioning option on your TV. Go into settings and make sure that CC is turned off, or make sure it's set to CC1. What you are probably seeing is the "text" option included in the CC options.
