Question about VIA P4PB 400 (P4PB 400-FL) Motherboard
At most of the cases like yours the problem is not at bios upgrade but at bios settings. If your hard disk is SATA you have to enable the SATA controller and make the necessary setting at the bios. Is your hard disk SATA or IDE? Post me back to provide you more details.
