Please help me find a free owners manual for my porter cable 352vs belt sander

The ServiceNet site has the manual for most Porter Cable power tools here: . The 352VS documentation is here: . Look in the right hand column for the Instruction Manual; you'll see an option to download a PDF or have the manual sent by email. However, you need to look at the sander and attempt to find the Type number. This will be on the label with the model and serial number. There are 7 different belt sanders that were released with the 352VS model number. Use this number to get the details for your sander. The direct link to the manual for the Type 1 version, today, is .

I hope this helps.

I am using the Porter Cable Quicksand Model 222 and the sander paper will not stay on the pad? What am I doing wrong...

first make sure you are using the right sandpaper for the tool and if it is hook and loop look at the pad for wear that will not allow the paper to adhere fully, if it is a PSA make sure the pad is not damaged.

Sanding disk will not stick to the disk pad

IF you have a new disk and it will not stick, the velcro-like surface on the machine is worn. "Hook and Loop" is but another term for "Velcro" and the simplest solution is to purchase velcro tape from any fabric store and glue the correct side to the sander.

How do you replace bearings on a porter cable 505 sander?

First I would go to and in the middle of the site towards the bottom type in your model number. I found breakdown on page 8 unless it comes up faster. You will need a bearing puller or something similar because they are pressed on. It is really not that hard with the proper tools. Let me know and if I have answered your question would you please rate this response accordingly and Thank you.

Dry wall sander leaving serious lines in the mud

Shane, it's not the sander that is the problem. This is a difficult machine to use, even for those who have been in the trade for years. The trick is to keep the head moving, and apply vary little pressure. Sorry I didn't find you sooner, but I just found this site 2 weeks ago.I'm sure you have already painted by now but your best bet would be to purchase a manual pole sander. If you have any other drywall questions, or know anyone who does, feel free to ask.
