There is no harm in asking. I have had replacement cooker nobs, bin lids allsorts by just being honest with message and asking nicely.

Most likey a burned out heating coil. You can buy them let me know the model number and I can give you a web site to go to buy it.

sounds like there's water in the element. Empty it out and let it dry out completely for a few days, and then try it again.
If the element is a concealed element (ie- you can't see the coils when you open the lid up) then there's probably a water leak into the sealed compartment.
Contact the manufacturer for a recommended repairer.

I took the base apart an repaired the electrical connection. You need a special screwdriver to remove the 3 base screws. I took an old, cheap flat-head driver and filed a v-notch in the middle of the blade so it would work to remove the screws. Had to replace the connector because of corrosion. That fixed the problem for me.
