Have you put a Lan cable from the mac to the router? I dont think it will connect wirelessly until that is enabled in the setup.

Yes this router will work with a computer running Windows 7 and other operating system so you can o ahead and upgrade to Windows 7.

with routers, modems, and ethernet jacks, theres always some type of guage as to how much it can take in or send out. Such as a car, motors will be more prone to blow if you push it past its max power limit. Routers are prone to stop working if your taking in or pushing out too much.

Why does this happen? Well, the modem could be able to send out 1000MBPS, and only recieve 100MBPS. The router, on the other hand, could be 100MBPS incoming, and 10MBPS outgoing. These numbers arent how much you can download in a second, its how quickly the modem can move, recieve, and send information. If your modem is moving at 1000MB a second, but your router can only move at 100MB a second, your router wont be able to hold the feed its being sent, and will shut down.


Solution: Get a new router, see what happens. make sure to lookup your modems configuration and specs online to get the right router :)

Open the modem's GUI and enter the xbox's ip address in the DMZ zone option.

I have same problem. Just spoke to Engin and very helpful techo told me the "N" series modem/router is not compatible with VOIP.
Solution: None apparent except to downgrade.
