Open Question

I have an AIWA CDC-Z127 stereo car cd receiver installed on my car. However, I have experienced the following problem: a. The audio control knob does not change the volume. b. The same audio control knob functions to change the minute, but not the hour when I tried to change the time. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: volume knob

In other words the lever that the front knob is attached to is broken or the microswitch is bad or broken.. if your not a tech please take the unit in to a shop as there are no user serviceable parts inside these units. Good Luck

CD Player not working

There may be dust inside the unit on the laser. Try shoting some compressed air in the CD drive area to clean out. Also, ensure that the CD surface is clean, and try a different factory made audio CD. Sometimes CD players have problems reading "burned" CD's.
