Make sure your battery is fully charged or just run with a power cord. Also, the battery could be bad.

What are the signs that the alternator is going bad

Your battery is running down? Charge lite on the dash comes, on. Do you have a voltmeter on your dash, engine running what does it read? I like to see as much over 13 volts as possible. If it is very much below 13 volts, You got a problem, in my opinion. I'd have to do testing to track the problem? When talking about charging system, there are several possible issues, not just the alternator.

Screen goes black unless it's on charge, even though it's fully charged

Right click on the battery icon in the taskbar (Normally located near the clock, bottom right corner of the screen).

In the sub-menu that pops up, select "Power Options".

Next to the power plan you are running, to the right of it, click on "Change plan settings".

Scroll down to and click on "Display" and you will see the computers setting options for both "On battery" and "Plugged in" with the screen turn off time in drop down boxes.

You need to select what time the screen turns off in when no user input is detected for that time. I usually select 5 mins for battery.

Hope this helps, and wishing you a Merry Christmas. ;)

My phone runs out of batteries so i took it home to charge it but it wont turn on, everytime i try it goes to a white screen as if it loading then shuts down again what do i do

if you have a usb charger for the pc you can do a trickle charge which helps when it goes fully dead another way that sometimes works is plug it in and while its plugged in remove the battery and reinsert in while its plugged in sometimes it allows it to charge.

After charging my MP3 player it appears fully charged but it will only play for about an hour and the battery runs down. i have recharged it again, same thing. now what?

The very first time you charge your battery YOU MUST CHARGE IT FULLY!!! If you didn't, that is probably the problem.

Also, even if you charge the player for just a couple of minutes it will APPEAR to have a fully charged battery when it actually doesn't.

Most portable media devices require at least 20 minutes to an hour to fully charge whether the screen shows that it is fully charged or not.

How do I determine if the battery is fully charged

There is a tiny little rectangle in the upper right corner of the main screen on the handheld. It's divided into 4 sections and each section lights up separately as the amount of charge goes down the light moves to the right. Fully charged all four sections are lit.

Battery Symbol and "charged" stay on iPod screen

You could try restoring the software back to factory defaults and see if something is missing. Make sure it is fully charged before doing it.
