You can buy a PHOTO tripod from any camera shop or on-line.

Here are two places:

Astronomers don't care if the image is upside-down, or mirrored left to right.

We have an Edu Science telescope from ToysRUs with a price tag of $69.99 that lists numbers 10050 and 120804. We took it out to assemble it and can't find a manual. When you look out the lense, it is

You can only use the eyepiece marked 20mm. This is a toy not a scope and you will only hate astronomy if you try to use it. The tripod is unstable and the lenses are plastic. Send it back and get a quality scope from Meade, Celestron or Orion. Orion makes a tabletop Dob (only 76mm aperture) for about $60 that is much better quality.

I need the instructions on how to put a Simmons 600 power / 60 mm telescope together because I have never put a telescope together.

You will not find a manual for that telescope brand. However Meade telescopes has a web site with all of their telescopes--

They all assemble and are used in a similar fashion:

Try these two web site links and look under the REFRACTOR heading for a scope that looks similar to your scope.

This might be similar to your scope?

I have a 102 mm Astro-Nova telescope 525 power by eduscience that shows everything upside down. Is there a retailer that sells the proper piece? I cannot get in touch w/ the eduscience website or phone...

All astronomical telescopes show the image upside down. It's tradition and there is a good technical reason for this, but you can get an "erecting prism" to make the image upright. This does not have to come from Edu-Science if your eyepieces are the standard size (1.25 inch outside diameter). If you search Amazon or eBay for "erecting prism" you will find a few available. You probably won't want to pay the prices though.

My name is Raul my reflector telescope edu science brand images are focused Upside when any target in the horizon and would like to see how to fix it right and I would like to send me a manual.

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images. It's completely normal. For terrestrial viewing you will need to buy an "erecting prism" like these:

Edu Scientific telescopes do not have manuals. They are being sold by Toys R Us, and are really not intended for actual astronomical use. We receive more complaints on this brand than all others. Craigslist.com has many of these types of scopes for sale because after buying them the people find out they are almost unusable.

Where can i get the instructions for the 240 power 60mm refractor telescope?

You cannot get a manual for that small telescope being sold by Toys R Us.

The manual would only have assembly instructions it will NOT tell you how to use the scope to see objects in the night sky.

You only use this for terrestrial viewing, all astronomical telescopes show upside down images. It's normal.

However, what you need is called an "erecting prism" these are available from several on-line retailers. Here is one for sale:
http://www.astronomics.com/main/Image_Erecting_Prisms.asp/catalog_name/Astronomics/category_name/EDNECFUVSRWS8KLNTU5E38XSE1/Page/1

You have two problems: First the erecting prism probably costs almost as much as you paid for the telescope. Second they usually come ion 1.25 inch size, your telescope may be a .965 inch. Measure the hold where the eyepiece goes and see which size you have.

Sometimes Telescope Warehouse on Ebay has the .965 size.

My 102mm astro-nova telescope shows everthing upside down. am i missing a piece for my telescope?

No, all astronomical telescopes show upside down images. You can buy what is called an "erecting prism" (just Google it) to use for terrestrial viewing.

Remember --- no up or down in space! Read my "TIPS" in my Profile, called ----"Frequently Asked Question".

When i look through the lens everything is upside down.

It is normal for a telescope to invert the image. There is no up or down in space so for astronomical use it does not matter.

The reflector telescope is not generally used for terrestrial viewing. However, image erectors can be purchased and are inserted before the eyepiece. This would make everything right side up.
