the problem is from your your xm radio receiver's screen display board, or inverter or screen flex. One of these is defective and that's what's affecting the display.
It is fixable depending on how bad the damage is. Get a screw driver, disassemble the unit, check the screen part, see if there is any disconnection. If don't find any physical fault, then you will need to take the xm radio receiver to a repairman to fix it for you.
