This happened on mine as well. I determined that the clutch was bad. These are not belt driven but rather direct drive with a clutch/brake that controls the spins and agitate functions. Try washing an empty or very small load (like tshirts and underclothes) and see if that helps. ALso look underneath to see if there is any oil on the ground if so you most likley will need to replacet he cltuch mechanism... not an easy task for do it yourselfer!

sounds like the inlet valve is bad. if you have a volt meter it is simple to check. first thing to do is remove the screw in each endcap on the conrtol panel. then pull to you and lift up and let it hang to the back of the washer. you will see a connector for the lid switch on top of the washer. disconect it. on each side on the top there is a clip that holds the cabinet to the back of the washer. use a flat blade screw driver and remove the clips. now grab the cabinet and tilt up and move it to you. now on the right you will see the water valve. it will have 2 connectors on it. one clear one red. clear is the cold water valve.use the ohm meter to check the valve.make sure you have 120v to it and if you do disconect the wirs and ohm the solinoid out. should be between 450 -650 if you get no reading replace the valve.

You can really thank the government for this- your washer has a 75/25 split valve (75 cold 25 hot--- so warm is mostly cold) which they mandated for all standard top load machines. In 2010 they are banning manufacting of all standard top loaders. The thermistor is because your machine has a ATC (automatic temperature control) system. It has a computer which monitors water temp for better laundry care. You could possibly have a repairman (this wouldnt be covered under warrany) try to retrofit a older service valve in your machine.
