Check the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler for plugging. Check the fuel lines for decay or other problems. Make sure to have fresh fuel/oil mix (50:1 ratio) in the tank. Be sure to premix in it's own container and shake the container thoroughly each time just before filling the tank to prevent oil starvation. Remove the spark plug and check for blue and snappy spark. If ok, try pouring a little fuel mix into the plug hole and try for start. If it pops, then you have fuel problems--try cleaning and re-kitting the carburetor. Pay particular attention to the diaphragm in the lower chamber--it should be flexible with no holes or cracks. Does the primer bulb pull fuel into it when pumped several times? Hope some of this helps!

Won't start when motor is warm. Saw for half hour and shut it off and it refuses to start again

this sure sounds as if it's an overheating problem , this causes the ign ckt to over heat and shut off the spark at the plug , id get a real good look at the cooling fins and make double sure theres no sawdust or other stuff in there blocking up the works , if you continue to run saw to overheat eventually it will damage the ign ckt to the point it wont come back on and saw wont run ,Period.

I use strong compressed air to blow out stuff stuck down in the ribs of saws(wear glasses )

Try checking for spark when she won't start. I'll wager your ignition module quits when it gets good and warm. HTH

Describe your Husqvarna "Chain Saw -

Remove the spark plug and test for spark. If ok, try some starting fluid in the plug hole, install the plug, and try to start. If it runs a short time, it is not getting fuel. Check fuel lines including inside the tank. Clean or replace the air filter. If this saw is fairly old, the carburetor probably needs a re-kit and cleaning. Does it have good compression? Check the muffler for plugging. Make sure the fuel/oil mix is fresh. Good luck!
